
Terri Unger is a visual storyteller with a background in fine art and photojournalism. Her work explores the intersections of human connection, place, and the land, capturing the rhythms of everyday life, moments of activism, and the resilience of people navigating their lives with purpose. With a strong sense of composition and movement, she creates images that convey the dignity and authenticity of the people she photographs.
Committed to storytelling as a tool for change, Terri collaborates with organizations focused on human rights, social justice, and community activism. She documents protests, grassroots efforts, and the everyday lives of working people.
This same thoughtful, documentary approach informs all of Terri's work, whether photographing a wedding, a small business, or creating portraits.
Terri is an active member of her community, having chaired the local arts council, organized numerous community events, and shared the stories of those around her through her work.
