I love to collaborate with brides and grooms who want to capture their love with an artistic, contemporary narrative, unique to them and their story. Prior to wedding day we'll meet and discuss what's important to you and what you hope to capture through the photography. This will give us the opportunity to get to know one another a bit, which is very helpful in working together, especially on wedding day.
My approach is journalistic and creative. I seek out the special behind the scene moments that capture emotion and mood. I work as unobtrusively as possible while capturing the big moments too, such as the vows and the kiss. I enjoy rustic settings like barns, backyards - I photographed a wedding in a marsh! - but I am familiar and comfortable with formal settings as well. My wedding services include formal portraits, candids, color, black and white, you name it.
